Pastor Dolphy Cross

Pastor Dolphy Cross was born in Jamaica and educated at Northern Caribbean University in Jamaica, Andrews University in Michigan, and the University of Miami.

He was married in December 1982 to the former Marjorie Coleman. They are the proud parents of three children; Dolmar, Damoi, and Dorie.

After serving as pastor, evangelist, and family-life educator in the Central Jamaica Conference of Seventh-day Adventist from 1980 to 1988, Pastor Cross accepted a call to the Eastern Caribbean Conference of Seventh-day Adventist in Bridgetown, Barbados.

While serving in the Eastern Caribbean Conference Pastor had the opportunity to minister in Trinidad, St. Lucia, Dominica, St. Vincent and St. Kitts exposing himself to the different cultures and lifestyles.

He was the founder and speaker of a government-sponsored radio program in Barbados, a lecturer of Value Education at the University of the West Indies School of Continuing Studies also in Barbados.

Pastor Cross migrated to the United States of America in 1994 and received a call in 1995 to the Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventist in Florida where he started the New Hope Seventh-day Adventist Church in Ft. Lauderdale.

While pastoring the Peniel and Faith S.D.A. churches in Ft. Myers and Port Charlotte respectively, he lectured in Value Education at the Florida Gulf Coast University and conducted Family Life Seminars throughout North America and Canada.

Presently he pastors the Bethlehem and Town ‘N’ Country churches in Clearwater and Tampa respectively.

Pastor Cross is a member of AFLP-Association of Family Life Professionals, a certified member of ACPE - Association of Clinical Pastoral Educators.

Many families have been enriched and blessed as a result of his ministry.
